The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course. Why? Because diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means you can typically stay down longer—especially on repetitive dives—and get back in the water sooner!
The Enriched Air Course at Joe Liburdi’s Dive & Photo includes all of the following:
- Course materials for Home Study. The crewpak includes the Enriched Air Diver Manual, which covers procedures for diving with enriched air (up to 40%), and the DVD, which demonstrates step-by-step how to dive using multiple dive tables. for home study portion. The crewpak also includes the 32%, 36% and the DSAT Oxygen Exposure tables.
- Two-hour classroom academic session
- Practical application using an oxygen analyzer
- Hands-on instruction on using a dive computer for diving with Enriched Air
All-inclusive fee for the above: $125
Optional: One ocean dive with instructor, $50. (Not required for certification.)
Prerequisites:
- Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from
another training organization - Be 15 years or older
Equipment Required for Enriched Air Course:
You use all the basic scuba gear. Your dive regulator must be enriched air compatible.
